The company applies cement mortar or cement mortar polymeric lining in accordance with DSTU B В.2.5-30:2006 ,  ISO 4179-2005 Ductile iron pipes and fittings for pressure and non-pressure pipelines ― Cement mortar lining,  AWWA C-205-18 cement mortar protective lining and coating for steel water pipe 4 in (100mm) and larger -shop applied,  API RP 10E  API Committee on Standardization of Well Cements, DIN 2614-1990 Cement mortar linings for ductile iron and steel pipes and fittings; application, requirements and testing,  DIN EN 10298- Steel tubes and fittings for onshore and offshore pipelines – Internal lining with cement mortar; German version EN 10298:2005, DIN 2880, NFA 49-701

It is obviously  that duct iron and steel are ferrous materials so when water is placed into duct iron or steel pipes you initiate a process of corrosion. As the pipe wall is influenced by water and oxygen, tubercles begin to protrude from the pipe wall and start to decrease the pipe wall thickness thus reducing the internal pipe diameter, which as a matter of course  reduces water flow and  increases pumping costs and adds to the likelihood of the pipe bursting. In this case we apply protection of inner pipe surface by means of cement mortar lining or cement mortar polymeric lining for pipelines with diameter starting from 100mm in accordance with DSTU B В.2.5-30:2006 ,  ISO 4179-2005 Ductile iron pipes and fittings for pressure and non-pressure pipelines ― Cement mortar lining,  AWWA C-205-18 cement mortar protective lining and coating for steel water pipe 4 in (100mm) and larger -shop applied,  API RP 10E  API Committee on Standardization of Well Cements.

New pipes with a diameter up to 1000mm are lined at a plant installation by means of centrifugalization or centered shortcrete.

Installed (functional) pipes with diameter from 1000 up to 2800mm are lined by means of centered shortcrete.

Before application of cement mortar lining or cement mortar polymeric lining, the inner surface is processed by short blasted  and waterjet method. As a result of it corrosion is deleting from the inner surface of the wall.

WATERJET PROCESSING.

The composition consists of natural ingradients (cement and silica sand) thus it

To avoid cracks in cement layer it is allowed to add polymers or polymeric compositions probated by Ministry of Health Care.

The pipes applied cement mortar lining should be jointed by welding. No additional protection required for inner butt weld surface for the pipes with diameter up to 1000mm. For pipes with diameter more than 1000mm it is recommended to protect butt welds with cement mortar manually.
