Steel pipes internal enamel coating. Enameled reducers, tees, elbows.

Enamel coating is porcelain or glass based thin layer applied to protect metal surface from corrosion chemicals, physical damages and other agresive components. Enamel is made by fusing of powdered glass to a substrate by firing at atemperature 750-850 C.

Enamel coating is considered to be one of cheapest and effective method of steel pipelines coating. Enameled steel pipes and fittings applied for hot and cold water supply are chemicaly resistant to almost any agressive environment, heat-resisting, heavy duty. Moreover enameled pipes are not exposed to scales.

Working service – up to 40 years.

While applying enameled pipes, coefficient of hydraulic resistance is reduced, thus the preassure in pipeline system is not wasted for friction. It is required much less power for water pumping through enameled pipes than through standard ones.

Chemicaly resistant enameled pipes on a pair with copper, titanium, plumbic pipes, but they are much cheaper. Aplication of enameled pipes made from carbon steels enables cost saving of budget. Enamel coating has such advantages as: sufficient mechanical resistance, as epoxy, PE, PP coatings, high resistance to abrasion due to friction which allows to reduce pipelines diameter without  degradation of pipeline transmission capacity.

Application of enameled pipes and fittings enables:
-to provide effective protection against corrosion and ground currents

-to enhance pipeline transmission capacity in 20%;

-to reduce pipe friction losses;

-to enhance pipes working service in 5 times;

-to reduce scales on outer pipeline surface;

-to enhance pipes working service much effectively and with cheaper cost as to compare with galvanized iron pipes and  stainless steel pipes.

Enameled pipes installation is applied by any method of welding. For the purpose of welding seam protection, pipe joints are coated with a special paste, which due to welding process is fusing onto welding seam.
