“Center of Tubes Coating” LLC is a professional manufacturer of steel pipes polyolefine extrusion lines of 2 types: T-DIE (SIDED FLAT SLOT DIE) LINE FOR STEEL/CAST IRON  PIPES WITH MONO 2-3-5-7 LAYER COATING  AND INTERNAL PE/PP LINING for the tubes with diameter 89-1420mm. and CROSSHEAD EXTRUSION PE/PP LINE FOR STEEL/CAST IRON PIPES WITH MONO 2-3-5-7 LAYER COATING AND INTERNAL PE/PP LINING   for the tubes with diameter 5-89mm

The extrusion line is applied as for primary pipes processing including: drying, shot blasting, abrasive working; and for its further insulation (coating), mainly: FBE(primer) steel surface coating, application adhesive layer is  for fixation of steel pipe with polyethylene protective coating, coating with anticorrsive protective PE, PP covering. These lines are also used for mono-2-3-5-7 layer PE/PP coating and internal PE/PP lining for steel/cast iron pipes with coating thickness 0.2-10mm.

The thickness of anticorrosive coating upon extruded PE, PP and hot-melt adhesive sublayer is about 1,8-3,5mm. Adhesive sublayer ensures high adhesive fixity to the steel pipes surface, on the other hand PE PP protective coating ensures high anticorrosive and mechanical resistance to agressive environment.

Our technology of anticorrosive coating based upon extruded PE, PP with hot-melt adhesive sublayer has variety of advantages as compare with other methods of steel pipes coatings. High adhesion to steel, water-resisting property, high mechanical resistance and also stage-by-stage control of pipes coating under plant conditions, enables us to get much advantages with high quality results as to compare with bitum-polymeric and other cold applyed coatings. Above mentioned methods of coating bring forward long term pipelines operations under severe conditions (more than 40 years of accident-free operation).

The method of steel pipes processing and coating complies with such international standards as: AWWA C215, EN ISO 21809-1, EN ISO 21809-4, DIN 30670 (UNI 9099), CSA Z 245-20, CSA Z 245-21, TS 5139, NF A 49-71.

PE, PP extrusion lines for steel pipes coating are comprised of:

Drying chamber – applied for steel pipes preheating. Consisting of  4 electromagnetic inductors along with automatic control unit for temperature control and flawless operation of heating unit.

Shotblasting chamber – used for  steel pipes cleaning from calces,  dust and corrosion to degree Sa 2,5 по ISO 8501-1Р and scaliness  40-90 mkm. It is also combined with the system of  recuperation and shot feeding along with the system of dust-removal and air filtration.

Electric unit heater for process heating of steel pipes based upon electromagnetic inductors applied for steel pipes heating up to temperature (150-230°С)   for preliminary steel coating with primer, hot-melt sublayer adhesive and PE, PP protection coating.

The coating line for steel pipes with extruded PE, PP covering, consists of 2 core units:

1. Unit for hot-melt adhesive sublayer coating;

Applied for processing of granulated hot-melt adhesive compositions for further coating of adhesive fuse onto preheated steel pipes surface. The unit consisting of: screw exteruder, automatic control units with integrated control cabinet, heating elements, autotomatic feeder for adhesive in granules, sided flat slot die extrusion  head, which is implied for coating both: hot-melt adhesive and PE, PP protective covering.

2. Unit PE, PP protective coating;

Applied for processing of granulated PE, PP compositions for further coating of adhesive fuse onto preheated steel pipes surface. The unit consisting of: screw exteruder, automatic control units with integrated control cabinet, heating elements, autotomatic feeder for adhesive in granules, sided flat slot die extrusion head, which is implied for coating both: hot-melt adhesive and PE, PP protective covering.

Water cooling of  fresh coated surface.

Work assignment ―enables coating formation, which gives possibility for further pipes transportation. Comprises of basins with constantly circulated stream of water.

Edge cutting device.

Consisting of device with 3 cutting knives. The central knife is fixated between edge of pipes, enables 2 sided knives to cut off extra coating.
